Sports and Sightseeing

Whether you’re a water sport fanatic or prefer to stay on solid ground, Tobago’s azure waters and friendly terrain have a sport to suit your style.

For the Water Babies…

The first place to visit is the astonishingly beautiful Buccoo Reef - cruise over this complex ecosystem in a glass-bottomed boat to truly appreciate its other-worldliness or snorkel above it to get a closer sense of its majesty. While there, be sure to take a dip in the Nylon Pool - amazingly clear, shallow water surrounds a sand dune in the middle of deep ocean - folklore has it that a kiss under these waters is a stroke for everlasting love!

Any diving enthusiast will adore Tobago’s bountiful waters - experts say that its variety of marine life can only be matched by Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. You can also take to the seas in a catamaran, jump the waves on a windsurfer or jet ski and get your energy pumping!

…And the Land Lubbers!

Tobago’s idyllic tropical landscape offers much in the way of sporting activity - from challenging biking trails to undulating hiking trails that showcase the island’s natural splendour. Bird watchers will be enthralled by the seemingly endless number of birds that populate the island - over 200 of the most exotic species in the world!
