Tobago Plantations Paradise Rentals Limited is the subsidiary company of Tobago Plantations Limited, facilitating the management and rentals of properties on the Tobago Plantations Beach and Golf Resort. Lowlands, where the entire establishment is located, was originally agricultural land that was acquired and developed by Guardian Life (an insurance company), Angostura Ltd. (a liquor manufacturer and distributor) and Home Construction Limited (residential home development company), all Trinidad and Tobago-based companies. Using the brand name, Sugar Mill Suites, TPL Paradise Rentals markets the ‘homes’ on the resort for luxury vacation rentals and resort living.

An 18-hole, PGA designed Golf Course is already in full swing on the resort, along with a fully operational, 200-room Hilton Hotel. Many other state-of-the-art facilities are currently on stream, including a Marina and other vacation-geared amenities such as a shopping mall, recreational centre, gym, tennis courts, bicycle trails and kayaking in the lagoon.
